2018 Colorado AFTAC Alumni Fall-Winter Dinner Social

When: Saturday November 10th with social hour starting at 5pm and dinner at 6pm.

Where: The Tin Cup @ Meadow Hills Golf Course, 3609 S. Dawson St, Aurora, CO 80014.

Please note this is the new location we used last year which is a larger, more modern facility and easily accessible with lots of close-in parking, and Cindy from Tin Cup Aurora Hills will still be in the kitchen. It's located just two blocks south of the intersection of Dawson Street and Hampden Avenue which is just a short distance east of where Hampden Avenue meets South Parker Road. Price: Still only $25 per adult and $12 per child (includes gratuity) which will be collected at the dinner. Please make checks payable to our treasurer, Bill Schmied.

Entree Options: Prime Rib, Salmon Oscar, or Chicken Picatta (select one per person). RSVP by: November 2nd

Gift Exchange: As in previous years, please bring an inexpensive gift to be given away as a door prize.

We are looking for volunteers to help set up the decorations for the evening of the social, if you'd like to help, please call or drop us a note.

2019 AFTAC Alumni Worldwide Reunion

(July 2018 Update)

This reunion is sponsored by the Colorado AFTAC Alumni Association and is taking place at the Denver- Aurora DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton located at 13696 East Iliff Place, Aurora, Colorado 80014. The reunion is open to all current and former members, family members and guests, of AFTAC, its predecessor organizations and subordinate units and associated units. A block of rooms has been reserved for the nights of 13, 14, & 15 June 2019 at a special rate of $119.00 (plus tax) per night and includes a full breakfast buffet. This special room rate is available using group code AFT and will be available until 24 May 2019 or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first. Additional room nights for 11 & 12 and/or 16 & 17 June may be booked at the same rate on a space available basis.

The room block consists of the standard 1-King Bed room and the 1-King Bed Larger Mobility Access with Tub rooms. If you require two beds, 2-Queen Bed rooms may be booked at the AFTAC rate on a space available basis. If you want to book a room for any of the additional nights or a room with two queen beds, you must call the hotel Sales Coordinator, Tina Le, at 303-337-2800 ext. 157 or Direct 303-614-0788. We very strongly recommend making reservations early so we can request increases to the room block before additional rooms become unavailable. Additional updates regarding the specific agenda, food menu, registration, etc., will be provided when firmed up. We are planning a golf tournament on Friday morning, 14 June, and an informal meet and greet icebreaker with Hors D’Oeuvres and cocktails on Friday evening along with briefings by local AFTAC unit personnel. The formal dinner banquet and ceremony will be Saturday evening, 15 June, along with special guest speakers. Our hospitality suite in the hotel will be open starting on Thursday, 13 June. It will be closed during the Friday icebreaker and Saturday dinner. An informal Sunday morning farewell breakfast at the hotel may also be scheduled if there is sufficient interest. Again, please make your room reservations early because June is a very popular time for visitors in Colorado.

We would like to welcome you to our breakfast on Saturday, 15 September 2018 at 0900. Place: Aurora Hills Golf Course - The Tin Cup, 50 S. Peoria St. Aurora, CO 80012 The menu is the Tin Cup buffet, with eggs, potatoes, meats, biscuits & gravy, toast, green chili, juice and coffee.

The cost is $15 per person, collected at the breakfast. Children are half-price.
